Arcas is proud to have designed over sixty logos and identities for various companies and organizations – locally, nationally and internationally – as far way as Arizona, California, Haiti and The Netherlands.
Haiti Village Health (Haiti)
Haiti Village Health is located in the village of Bod Me Limbe, just north of Port au Prince in Haiti, and serves a population base of approximately 25,000 people. The clinic was founded by Canadian Emergency Physician, Dr. Tiffany Keenan, in conjunction with a group of dedicated medical professionals who share a love for Haiti and a belief that access to health care and medicine is a basic human right.
Our team developed the logo for this dedicated organization as well as a basic website a few years ago. The design is a warm and caring graphical expression of the clinic’s mission and values for helping those in need.
Tyron Brackenridge Field With Dreams Foundation (Pasadena, California)
Tyron Brackenridge is an all star Canadian Football League defensive back who is currently a member of the Saskatchewan Roughriders. His football career began in the NFL – having played five years with the Kansas City Chiefs, New York Jets and Jacksonville Jaguars. In 2013, he was honoured with being named the CFL’s hardest hitter.
Tyron’s ‘Field With Dreams’ Foundation aims to help children in the Pasedena, California area to realize their dreams and potential in whatever field of interest they desire – be it athletics, the arts, school or business.
The logo and identity developed for the foundation represents a child’s growth through the depiction of a person as a strong tree cradling the leaves which are a thought bubble to connote their ‘dreams’.
Tyron also hosts an annual charity steak night fundraiser in the Riders’ hometown of Regina, SK – of which he hopes to bring the ‘Field With Dreams’ brand and services to the city in the near future to benefit local Saskatchewan children.
Emerald Canyon Golf Course (Parker, Arizona)
Located near La Paz, Arizona, Emerald Canyon Golf Course has been rated as one of the top and most spectacular Arizona golf layouts by Golf Digest. The Arcas team redesigned the logo (as well as a website) to help communicate its positioning as a significant southern U.S. golfing destination – a veritable green oasis tucked in amongst the craggy yet stunning mountains of the region.
ParaVolley (The Netherlands)
ParaVolley is responsible for managing and controlling the conduct of international volleyball competitions for men, women and youth. Originally established in 1951 as the World Organization Volleyball for Disabled (WOVD), ParaVolley is affiliated with the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) and the Paralympic Games – most recently held in London 2012. In 1992, ParaVolley became its own separate organization with headquarters established in The Netherlands.
Arcas Advertising was pleased to be able to design this global organization’s new logo and identity – helping ParaVolley to be positioned as an innovative, dynamic sport and organization that could further establish its credibility on the international and Olympic global stage.
